🧩 文法點:this / that / these / those + a / an + 複數

近的用 this,遠的用 that;一個用單數,多個用複數:

• This is a pen.（這是一支筆。)　These are pens.（這些是筆。)
• That is a book.（那是一本書。)　Those are books.（那些是書。)

a / an:「一個」 單數的東西前面通常要放 a 或 an(叫「冠詞」):

• 一般用 a：a book、a pen、a car。
• 後面那個字的音是母音開頭(a/e/i/o/u 的音)就用 an：an apple(蘋果)、an egg(蛋)、an hour(小時,h 不發音)。
• 重點是「聽起來是不是母音開頭」,不是看字母。

複數:大多加 -s

• pen → pens、book → books、key → keys。
• 字尾是 s/x/ch/sh 的加 -es:bus → buses、box → boxes。
• 複數前面不用 a/an:❌ a pens　✅ pens / two pens。

🗣️ 發音提醒

• this /ðɪs/(短 i,「利斯」的短)vs these /ðiz/(長 i,「利茲」拉長)——一個單數一個複數,母音長短分得出來很重要。
• 開頭又是 th /ð/(有聲):this / that / these / those 全部舌尖咬牙。
• 複數 -s 的三種音:pens /z/、books /s/、buses /ɪz/——先不用背規則,跟著唸久了自然會。
