🧩 文法點:I'd like / Can I…?(客氣說法)
在店裡、餐廳,別用 I want(太直接、有點沒禮貌),用這兩個:
① I'd like ＿＿(= I would like,「我想要」的客氣版)
- I'd like a cup of coffee.（想要一杯咖啡)
- I'd like two tickets, please.（想要兩張票)
- 後面接名詞;想接動作用 I'd like to ＿＿:I'd like to pay now.
② Can I have / get ＿＿?（「可以給我／點…嗎?」)
- Can I have a menu?（可以給我菜單嗎?)
- Can I get the check?（可以結帳嗎?)
加上 please 是關鍵:英語的禮貌很大一部分靠 please 和 thank you,句尾加一個 please,整句就從「命令」變「請求」。
回應價錢:It's / That's ＿ dollars.（單數 1 元 = one dollar,複數要加 -s = five dollars。)
🗣️ 發音提醒
- I'd /aɪd/:是 I would 縮寫,一個音「愛的」,別唸成兩個字。
- much /mʌtʃ/:結尾 -ch /tʃ/(「去」的氣音),How much 連著唸。
- dollars 的 -ar- 美式有捲舌;結尾 -s 記得帶。
✍️ 開口練習
練習 1:把 I want 換成客氣說法。
- I want a coffee. → I'd like a coffee, please.
- I want the check. → Can I have the check, please?
練習 2:角色扮演(咖啡店)。 自己分飾兩角唸一遍:
— Hi, what can I get you? — I'd like ＿＿, please. How much is it? — That's ＿ dollars. — Here you go. Thank you!
練習 3:問價錢。 指三樣東西問:
How much is this? / How much are these?

- 客氣點餐/要東西:I'd like ＿, please / Can I have ＿, please?(別用光禿禿的 I want)。
- 問價:How much is it?;結帳:Can I have the check?(美 check／英 bill)。
- please / thank you 是英語禮貌的核心,句尾加 please 就對了。
