Amy: Should companies allow remote work?（公司該允許遠距工作嗎?) Ken: Well, on the one hand, it gives people flexibility. On the other hand, it can hurt teamwork.（嗯,一方面給人彈性,另一方面可能傷害團隊合作。) Amy: True. 談利弊(pros and cons)

• On the one hand… on the other hand…（一方面…另一方面…)
• The advantage / benefit is… / The drawback / downside is…
• The benefits outweigh the drawbacks.（好處大於壞處)

表達態度(讓語氣有層次)

• 坦白:To be honest / Frankly, …
• 委婉:It seems to me that… / I'd say… / To some extent, …（某種程度上)
• 堅定:I'm convinced that… / There's no doubt that…
• 保留:That said, … / Then again, …（話說回來)

回應別人

• 部分同意:I see your point, but… / You have a point, though I'd add…
• 不同意(客氣):I'm not so sure. / I'd argue the opposite.

🧩 文法點:討論怎麼「有結構」

① 一段討論的骨架(超好用):

立場 → On the one hand(一面)→ On the other hand(另一面)→ To be honest, I think(你的判斷)→ because(理由)→ That said(平衡一下)。

② hedging(委婉、留餘地)——B2 的成熟語氣:

• 不把話說死:It tends to… / It's often the case that… / To some extent…
• 比起 "You're wrong",母語者更常說 I'm not sure I agree 或 I'd argue that…——保留、不衝突。

③ 用學過的工具讓討論更有力:

• 強調句(L14):What matters is the balance.
• 情態推測(L10):It might work, but it could also backfire.
• 條件(L04):If companies were more flexible, they would keep better staff.
