🔑 關鍵句型

• A + be + 比較級 + than + B：Tokyo is bigger than Osaka.
• more + 長形容詞 + than：This is more expensive than that.
• 問句:Which is + 比較級, A or B?　Which is cheaper, this or that?

🧩 文法點:比較級怎麼變

① 短形容詞(1 音節,和一些 2 音節)→ 加 -er:

• tall → taller、cheap → cheaper、old → older。
• 拼法:big → bigger(短母音+單子音,雙寫)、nice → nicer(去 e 加 r)、happy → happier(y→i)。

② 長形容詞(2 音節以上)→ 前面加 more(形容詞不變):

• expensive → more expensive、beautiful → more beautiful、difficult → more difficult。
• ❌ expensiver　✅ more expensive。

③ 不規則(要記):

• good → better、bad → worse、far → farther / further。

④ than = 「比」,放在兩者之間:A is 比較級 than B。

• She is taller than me.（口語 than me;正式 than I am。)

🗣️ 發音提醒

• 比較級 -er 結尾 /ɚ/(美式捲舌):bigger、cheaper——別漏尾音。
• than /ðæn/ 開頭 th /ð/(舌尖咬牙),口語常弱讀成 /ðən/。
• worse /wɝs/:一個音節,「臥斯」帶捲舌,不是「臥了斯」。

• big → bigger　happy → happier　expensive → more expensive　good → better

練習 2:造句(A + 比較級 + than + B)。

＿ is bigger than ＿. / ＿ is more expensive than ＿.

練習 3:抓錯。

• ❌ It's more cheaper. → ✅ It's cheaper.（短形容詞不加 more)
• ❌ She is taller than me is. → ✅ She is taller than me.
